Our Mission

To create a technology-rich community, support technology entrepreneurship, and connect technology professionals with appropriate resources in the Florida Suncoast region, in short… "Growing and Promoting the Technology Ecosystem in Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte Counties."

Our Vision

The tri-county area wishes to diversify its economy and become known as a technology center on the West Coast of Florida. With technology curriculum growing at the local colleges and universities and local tech companies being successful, this part of Florida will become a burgeoning center for technology of various sorts. We strive to become “The technology organization representing the interests of technology entrepreneurs and technologists in the tri-county region."

To help us achieve our mission and realize our vision, the organization focuses on the following initiatives:

• Increase membership value – help members extract additional return on their membership investment through sponsoring and attending STF informational and social events and/or participating on one or more of the committees.

• Continue to build strong relationships with other community and membership organizations – Economic Development Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, The Tampa Bay Technology Forum, The Florida High Tech Corridor, The Florida Venture Forum and others.
